This week we have celebrated some of the incredible activities that our Year 7 students took part in for the Transition Pledge Award.
The Department for Education (DfE) is continuing to update on the government’s response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Nottinghamshire is one of 18 Local Areas from across the country which will be engaging with Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission / CQC in a series of Local Area SEND Interim Visits in early October.
This is being undertaken as a ‘collaborative enquiry’ to better understand how Nottinghamshire LA has worked during the last 6 months (Covid) with children and young people with SEND and their families. The outcomes of these national visits between now and February 2021 will ultimately be used to develop national case studies of good practice, as well as informing the development of the new SEND Local Area Inspection Framework.
There are two online surveys (one for parents/ carers and one for young people aged 16-25).
Both surveys opened yesterday and will close on Wednesday 30 September 2020. We are keen to ensure that as many parents, carers, as well as children and young people are able to present their experiences of the last 6 months.
The survey can be accessed at:
