A UCAS introduction day is taking place at the Academy on Monday 30th June – all year 12 students must attend. The day will start at 9.30am in Upper School Hall for a welcome assembly by Ms Carter. Students will then work in tutor groups registering for UCAS, looking at courses and starting to write personal statements.

Head of Sixth Form's Message
Welcome to the Arnold Hill Academy Sixth Form page. It is a pleasure for me to be Head of such a large, diverse and exciting sixth form.
All students are placed in a tutor group, with an experienced and committed tutor who will provide invaluable support in terms of transition from GCSE to Post 16, study skills, UCAS applications and support and advice with apprenticeship and employment applications – to name a few!
There are a wide range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities available to students. These include Head Boy and Head Girl posts, sixth form committee, Duke of Edinburgh, sports leadership roles and activities as diverse as book club, circuit training and cake baking.
We offer a broad range of courses and are proud of the way in which we match individual learners to appropriate curriculum pathways based on prior attainment, learning style and their desired path beyond the sixth form. Courses available include traditional AS and A level subjects as well as vocational BTEC qualifications in a number of different subject areas.
